Orange Room Tapas

The food is excellent, however, the serving staff must be deaf because the music in the mornings on weekends drowns our attempts at conversation. We have asked them to turn it down, they only pretend to do so. Read the Vancouver Sun articles on noisy restaurants. The music isn't suppose to be for the staff who apparently are unaware of the age group that is there on Sat/Sunday mornings. Both my wife and I won,t go again. We have also spoken to our friends. Love the food, there is a revolution against mindless noise. TURN IT DOWN OR TURN IT OFF. WE WOULD LIKE TO HEAR OURSELVES TALK.

My husband and I went to the Orange Room last night for dinner. We ordered the chicken satay appetizer. The sauce was wonderful. Unfortunately the chicken pieces were not of even size, so when they were cooked, the smaller pieces were so overdone that they were hard to cut with a knife and very stringy at the edges. When my quiche arrived, it wasn't hot, the crust was soggy and the salad was flat. My husband ordered the chicken caesar. The chicken on top was very dry. After telling my husband what a wonderful lunch I had at the Orange Room, and what great food they serve, I was a little embarrassed.

Astonishing place! Last week I just walked by and I heard some great guitar music which drew me in. The players name was Laszlo Polgari and he exhibited an Al di Meola level of craftsmanship playing Spanish guitar. They also have excellent food, magnificent cocktails (those tricky White Russians) and different live music almost every night. Mr. Polgari, I am waiting for your CD to come out!

Disappointing - it's not what it used to be. My wife and I really liked the Orange room which was unique with its relatively healthy and tasty food. Their vegetarian selection was reasonably priced and really good. While still somewhat OK after transitioning to 'tapas', it's now like any another restaurant with the usual heavy fair (and somewhat overpriced) - it's nothing special anymore.

I really liked this restaurant great food and awesome service. The tapas are yammy and reasonably priced.
Their Creme Brulee and Freshly squezeed Lemonade are to die for.
That's one place I'm sure to come back time and again.
